What does being a member of 513 mean to Mark?

It has given me the opportunity to train under, and work with the best mechanics in the

industry. I have gained friendships to last a lifetime, and a career with great pay and

benefits.

What does an Election Commissioner do for 513?

It is the job of an Election Commissioner to oversee the election process to guarantee a fair election for all members.

How did Mark get started with 513?

I started as an intern in 2004. After graduating from Linn State Technical College, I was

hired full time as a first-year apprentice.

Some of Mark’s Accomplishments at 513:

I was a member of the negotiating team that has successfully negotiated two contracts with Fabick. I also helped build an open, working relationship between 513 and Fabick.

Mark is married to his wife, Nichole, of eleven years and has two children, Wyatt (9) and Kendall (6). He grew up and still lives in the small, farming community of Marine, Illinois. I spend my free time with family and farming with my father and uncle. Mark is also a volunteer firefighter and earned the title of 2020 firefighter of the year. He also is a passionate volunteer for the Leaps of Love, a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide help to families affected by childhood brain tumors and late-effects of childhood cancer.
