What does being a member of 513 mean to Bill?
Local 513 is my family and I love operating equipment. There is nothing I would rather do besides work for and help our members. I want to help ensure that 513 is strong and prosperous for generations to come.
What does an Auditor do for 513?
An Auditor meets quarterly and looks over the books with Angel at the 513 office. We discuss the bills that have been paid and Angel answers any questions that we have. We write a report and bring it to the membership at the following meeting and help tie up loose ends at the meetings and help wherever possible.
How did Bill get started with 513?
I’m a 3rd generation Operating Engineer. I signed up for the apprenticeship in 1993 and got accepted into the program in 1995.
Some of Bill’s Accomplishments at 513:
One of my greatest accomplishments since I’ve been an officer is helping collect the signatures we needed to get “right-to-work” on the ballot so we could overturn it in the election.
